At sunset, Rosh Hashanah begins - “The Head of the Year”. The new Jewish New Year 5785. The day of shouting/blasting. It begins ten days of repenting and seeking out closeness with God culminating in Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) on the 10th day of Tishri.
